Diane Jones graduated in Optometry at the University of New South Wales in 1999. She worked in Launceston for 6 years, also provided optometry services to Beaconsfield, George Town and Burnie.
Diane was endorsed to prescribe therapeutic drugs for eye conditions in 2003 and has particular interest in vision correction, children’s vision, macular and diabetic eye disease.
Diane moved to Hobart in 2005 to join Total Eyecare. Diane is the practice manager of our New Norfolk branch and currently practices at the New Norfolk, New Town and Sandy Bay Practices.
Diane was elected to the Board of the Tasmanian Division of the Optometrists Association in 2010 and enjoys being part of shaping the future of Optometry in Tasmania.
At a personal level, Diane has two school age children and enjoys camping, travelling, reading and needlework. She is a Scout Leader and loves working with children.
