Colin first graduated in optometry in 1987 from the University of Caledonia in Glasgow, Scotland. Shortly after he moved to Tasmania and began practicing optometry at Grist Optometrists in both Hobart and Devonport.
Colin then carried out locum work establishing his own practice in a specialist medical centre. In the early 90’s, he went on to work with Eyelines and was involved in the Tasmanian Eye Clinics, as well as Low Vision Aids for the Visually impaired.
Since 2010, he has been working for Total Eyecare, primarily at the Kingston and Howrah practices.
